Policies
Minor Servicing:
Due to the environment in which Layla J Beauty Co. is housed, an adult-only spa, we are only accepting minors aged 13 years and older who have a parent or guardian who is an established client. There will be no exceptions to the policy.
Services
All clients are asked if there is a request to change anything about their hair before the client is checked out. Please use this time to ensure your style is to your liking. There is a NO REFUND POLICY on services that are fully completed. Only complimentary fixes are allowed within 2 days of the service completion, pending approval of stylist error.
Layla J Beauty Co. has the right to refuse service to anyone at our discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, clients who arrive late, display inappropriate or disrespectful behavior, have conditions that may compromise service results, or fail to follow salon policies.
Our priority is to maintain a safe, professional, high-quality environment for all clients and staff.
Deposits and Card Filing
Deposits are taken to secure appointments, cover individual product cost, and/or processing/packaging/shipping rate. All deposits will be due before the service date and before web orders are processed for all of LJB Extension Products.
Card information does not remain on file with Layla J Beauty LLC. Please review the privacy policy of SquareSpace.com, Secureacuityscheduling.com, Sqaure.com, and PayPal.com for concerns on payment and information security. Details for your payment processing method will be rendered at the time of purchase by your payment processing company. Please review their privacy policy before confirming payment.
Cancellation Policy
24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of your scheduled services in order to avoid a late cancellation fee. Clients canceling less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will be required to pay 50% of the services reserved in order to continue booking services.
If you have booked your appointment with less than 24 hours between your booking time and scheduled appointment, you are required to cancel 3 hours before your service starts to avoid the late cancellation fee.
Appointments booked with less than 3 hours of time between when the appointment was made and when the appointment was scheduled to take place are not subject to this policy. While there is no fee applied for these cancellations, you may be required to leave a credit card on file or a deposit in order to book future appointments if this happens more than once.
Please note that cancellations can only be made through online booking, phone calls, and text messaging. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL VIA EMAIL!
Late Arrivals:
We understand there is traffic and delays, but appointments generally run back-to-back to avoid overlapping times. There is a 10-minute grace period to make it to your appointment. If the client has not reached out to inform that they will be late before this 10-minute grace period is up and shows up after, your appointment will no longer be available, and you will be asked to reschedule.
Recurring lateness will result in the suspension of scheduling future appointments.
No Shows:
If you do not show up for your scheduled appointments without contacting LJB Co., you will be automatically suspended from scheduling future appointments. If you wish to reinstate your access to the schedule, you are subject to paying the FULL AMOUNT of the services reserved at the time of booking. Please note that to cancel your appointments during Layla J Beauty LLC hours of operation, a phone call or text message is required.
Products:
Unused/unopened retail products/tools are non-refundable. Purchase credit towards similar retail can be given if concern is expressed within 2 days.
Specials & Service Bundles
Bundles, once purchased, are non-refundable. The value of the remaining services on a package may be returned for a credit pending approval. Once a service bundle has been returned, you are not able to purchase that bundle again.
Service bundles all have an expiry date associated with them, and after this time is up, any unused services will no longer be available for use.
Lengthy + Multiple services
Any bookings spanning longer than 3 hours, or group bookings for 3 people or more, must be secured by having a valid credit card attached to your client account. In the event of late cancellations or no-shows, the credit card will be charged as outlined in our policies above.
For clients who do not wish to place a credit card on their file, there is the option to pay an invoice deposit via Square of 50% on the appointments you wish to book.
Extensions, Wigs, Human Boho Hair
All Customized Wigs, Extensions, or Human Boho Hair are non-refundable.
Shipped Extensions in its original packaging, unaltered, and in a paid return package will be accepted 7 days after purchase. Alterations to wigs can be made within 3 days of final payment. Please contact us @ laylajbeauty.co@gmail.com
